I’m absolutely giddy. I just got a notice in my email that I’ve got an Amazon.com gift certificate to the tune of $100 waiting for me! Woot! All of my online Christmas shopping paid off…I redeemed the majority of my Memolink points for that $100 gift certificate. Now I can buy a bunch of books and [...] It’s amazing how good of a mood I’m in, considering the amount of pain that I’m in right now. I guess it’s the fact that as soon as I’m done at work for the day, I’m off for the next FIVE DAYS. Yes, FIVE DAYS. I’m giddy with excitement. Plus, we’re probably closing early today, and [...] I decided to unplug myself last night. I was tired of staring at my computer…tired of watching hockey (*gasp!*)…tired of playing with my fish, tooting my horn, and starting ghost hunts…tired of trying to figure out how to work the phrase “best weight loss pills” into a sentence…tired of everything. I’d been in [...] Things are finally quieting down here at work. The major job that has been taking up all of our time was delivered earlier this afternoon, and I think that the boss and I both sighed in relief when he got back from delivering it. My dream is to own a house that has an entire wall of built-in bookcases. What’s more fun than finding free audio books on the web? Finding out that you’ve snagged an Early Reviewers copy of a book over [...] Hubby surprised me tonight when I got home from work, and he let me open all of the birthday presents that I DIDN’T know about. He got me all five of the CDs that I asked for, along with a Darth Vader bobblehead. The bobblehead rules the school. I’ve added him to the top [...] So. Anybody want to place bets on whether or not UPS is going to have me in a rage when I get home from work today?
