Work was hell today. I dread getting up in the morning now. Quite frankly, there’s really not much to KEEP me getting out of bed in the morning, job-wise. The fact of the matter is…well, in the next few months, I’m probably going to be jobless. That’s all I’m going to say for now, so let’s just [...] Not having any food in the house can be better than the best diet supplement. It also helps if you’re too lazy to make up the poor man’s dinner…i.e., macaroni and cheese. Yeah, hubby and I really need to go grocery shopping. Unfortunately, we have absolutely no money to spare. I am getting 44.75 hours [...] Crazy. Nuts. Jaw dropping, head spinning off the wall weird. That about sums up my life right now. Bullet points, just because I feel like it. Hubby and I are screwed financially. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I haven’t paid the rest yet for August, and I honestly don’t know how I’m going [...] I feel like I’ve been punched in the face. This week hasn’t been all that bad, honestly…the issue that I had with my one friend earlier in the week was resolved peacefully and without me tearing him a new asshole. He’s lucky I didn’t tear him apart for jumping to conclusions that he shouldn’t have [...] It has been a crazy, exhilarating, whirlwind kind of week. It has been an exhausting weekend. To start: Monday night, I submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, otherwise known as the FAFSA, which led to… Ugh. I feel like someone’s walked across my stomach wearing a pair of high-heeled christian louboutin shoes. My surgery last Thursday took a lot out of me, and I so wasn’t prepared to return to work today. The surgery itself went fine, except that I ended up spending more time in recovery than expected because [...] I’m feeling pretty damn awful today. We have a huge job in the shop, and I was drafted to collate yesterday. I haven’t said anything to my boss about the extent of my shoulder problems, as I’m not really ready to disclose exactly how badly it’s damaged…but the fact is, I shouldn’t be collating. The repetitive movement [...] Boring day at work today. Good Friday is ALWAYS slow at our shop, and today was no exception. You’d think after all these years that the boss would close the shop, but nooooooooooooooo. If there’s a chance to take in even ONE job, we’re open for business.
