SELL YOUR GOOGLE STOCK.
Google thinks they can punish bloggers and they’re dropping people’s page ranks left and right. Google believes that they’re the end all, be all of the internet. Maybe if we band together and get the word out, something MIGHT happen.
Google, kiss my ass. You’ve cost me more money than I care to even think about. You took me from a PR 5 to a 3, and I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop, as a ton of bloggers have been squashed down to ZERO. My other site got knocked down to a 0.
I know my plea won’t do a damn thing, but what the hell. If all bloggers ban together, maybe something can be done. Google is now TARGETING those of us that do paid posting and have advertisements in our sidebars. Why should we be punished for trying to make a buck? Sure, Google is its own entity, and they can do whatever the hell they want, but please. My site was a PR 5 for YEARS. I have to suffer because I’m trying to earn some extra money?
Yes, I know, it’s not all about that. Other sites have suffered, too. Newspaper sites, other bloggers that don’t have any sort of advertising, whatever. Google gets to change up the game in the middle of things suddenly when really, nobody knew how the game was being played in the first place!
The AdSense ads have been yanked from my other site. I’ll be damned if I’ll have anything from Google running on my sites. Hell, I haven’t used Google as a search engine in YEARS. I use Blingo.
In the end, Google is going to be the one to suffer, anyway. PR isn’t going to make a damn bit of difference. The EatonWeb directory has already said that they’re going to phase out PR…
However, we are planning to phase out PageRank in our metric over the next 12 months because, quite honestly, we no longer feel that it’s an accurate reflector of site value.
I’m just going to ride out the storm. I will continue to blog however I see fit. Google can kiss my ass. But while we’re at it…

The only way to make money off Google is to steal the wallets of all the people who work for them. I’ve had those fucking ads up for most of the time I’ve been blogging…and I’ve made 0.84 cents. Eighty-four cents don’t buy much crack down heuar.

Most of the ads in the sidebars are google ads. Do they want us to remove those too? Fine, no problem since it never makes me any money anyway.
I have gotten more traffic and more feedback the old fashion way, by networking then Google ever got me. All they did was send me emails that I needed to increase my ad budget.
Didn’t they get in trouble for fake clicks?
I yanked the Adsense ads off of Soapworks…I haven’t made any money in the YEARS that I’ve had an account with them. I make a steady income with Text Link Ads every month, and that’s one that Google’s penalizing hard for…screw that. I refuse to bow to Google. I’m hoping this huge uproar hits ‘em hard!
I don’t know about the fake clicks…what I do know is they suspended a ton of people’s Adsense accounts for fake clicks when nothing was being done wrong!!
