I swear, if hubby and I keep on going the way we’ve been going, he and I are both going to need to invest in weight loss pills. To say we ate our way through his off-weekend is a bit of an understatement.
Saturday lunch = Burger King, the epitome of all that is evil. Their stacker burgers are my downfall. MEAT AND CHEESE!! MEAT AND CHEESE!! Like I always say, at least if I’m going to die of a heart attack, it’s going to be with a smile on my face and a cheeseburger in my hand.
Saturday dinner = Pat’s Pizzeria. Online ordering makes my life so much easier. They are the only place that even comes close to making an Italian hoagie the way I’m used to.
Sunday lunch = leftover Burger King. I’d gotten stackers because we had a coupon, so I saved it. It still tasted damn good.
Sunday dinner = My specialty. I made Italian chicken for dinner, with rosemary and garlic steamed potatoes and creamed spinach. It was delicious, and now I’ve got leftovers for later in the week.
Monday lunch = Roly Poly. They’re in the suite next door to my shop, and I eat there almost every day. They have some of the best soups in the area, and I’m ADDICTED to their corn and green chili bisque.
Monday dinner = I got out of work early, so hubby and I decided to go out for an early dinner at Red Lobster. His godparents had given us a $25 gift card for Christmas. That just about covered the appetizers. Dinner was AWESOME. And they screwed up…hubby ordered their coconut shrimp with his dinner and they accidentally gave him shrimp scampi. Not only did they make the coconut shrimp for him, but we got to keep the scampi, as well. That got added into my order of scampi, which is going to be my dinner tonight.
Lunch today will be from my new favorite place, Big Boyz Pizza. I’ve got a craving for their ham club sammich…it is the best club sandwich I have ever had!
Wow, I had never heard of Roly Poly, but OMG does it sound wonderful! Their closest location is a little more than an hour from me so next time I have a day to myself I just might have to go check them out!
I’d never heard of them, too…and then they moved in next door and now I can’t rave enough about them! Their wraps are first-class and their salads are SO GOOD! Their broccoli and cheddar soup is the BEST I have EVER had!
