At 9:30 this morning, I pulled a job up on my computer screen and programed the copier out in the front office to run me a sample set so that I could check to make sure the copy quality was good.
At 1:45 this afternoon, I was finally able to program in the entire job to run.
It’s been a busy, BUSY day here at the ranch. Honestly, it works for me. Although leaving early on beautiful days like today is nice, what’s not nice is the lack of money in my paycheck. I’m already going to be missing at least a day’s pay out of next week’s check.
Hubby and I are trying to cut our costs wherever we can. I’ve pretty much stopping buying lunch at work, and hubby and I are only eating out once a week. I’ve been selling some stuff online. I finally deposited two checks that I got for my birthday, and I transferred the money right over to our emergency fund account.
I’m also contemplating returning my new iPod nano. Hello, buyer’s remorse!
Actually, it’s not just buyer’s remorse. It’s “buyer’s pissed off because the damn thing doesn’t charge when hooked up to ANY of my stuff!” and “We need a new couch!”
And now, we HAVE TO buy a new couch. Hubby just sawed apart and threw away our old one!
(He did that because we ARE buying a new couch on Saturday. Just so’s ya know…)

Ah sawing things is fun, sucks about the nano.
Hubby had so much fun tearing it apart, but I’m sure the trashmen were less than thrilled with how heavy the dumpster was!!
