Sick House.

I took the day off from work today, as I knew I was going to be getting trashed at the bar on Wednesday night. When I asked my boss Wednesday afternoon if I could have Thursday off, he asked me if I had any plans.

“Well, I planning on getting drunk tonight.”

The boss laughed and said, “Gotcha.”

Hey, at least I’m honest.

It’s been a stressful week, and I needed last night in the worst way. Unfortunately, poor hubby is sick as a dog, so he ended up leaving the bar after the fourth match. I got a ride home from one of the guys later on. I had a good time, and was stumbling around in my knock-off Geox shoes when I got home.

It’s a really good thing I had off today, as I didn’t roll out of bed until 3 this afternoon.  Go, me.  At least I managed to get something done today, so my day off wasn’t a complete waste.

I really wish I had some spare money laying around.  I really want one of these glass cupcakes.  Aren’t they absolutely adorable?!

Poor hubby is so sick, he had to call out of work tonight.  This is the worst I’ve ever seen him, and I really hope I don’t catch what he’s got, because I’ve got to work three open-to-closes next week!

Poor guy is sleeping on the couch tonight.  He just took some medicine, and I tucked him in.  He’d rather sleep on the couch than back in the bedroom so that he doesn’t keep me awake with his coughing.  Plus, he’s kind enough to not want to get me sick!  No wonder I love him so!
