I’m headed to Delaware this weekend to spend some time with my parents. My Mom and Dad have decided to replace their TV in the bedroom and get a flat-screen TV, and Dad’s been doing all kinds of research on the differences between LCD and plasma tvs. Mom’s convinced him to buy a bigger TV than what they already have in the bedroom, so that when the TV in the living room goes, they can move the one over from the bedroom. Mom wants to get at least a 32″ TV.
Works for me. I’ll inherit the TV from the other bedroom, as they’re then going to switch out the bedroom TVs. The remote for the TV in the other bedroom doesn’t work, but I don’t care. It’s not all that difficult to get a universal remote, and the TV itself has a very nice picture. We’ll probably end up getting rid of our old behemoth 27″ TV that we have in the bedroom…it’s absolutely MONSTROUS and it takes up two thirds of my bureau!
Mom’s already wrangled a promise from me to go TV shopping with her on Saturday. Not exactly my idea of a fun time, but it’s a good way to keep me out of the craft stores, I suppose!
